National Presbyterian School, an independent, co-educational elementary school (Pre-Kindergarten 3 through 6th Grade) in Washington, DC, is seeking caring, flexible, and enthusiastic individuals to serve as Substitute Teachers across all grade levels (Pre-Kindergarten 3 through Sixth Grade) for the 2025–2026 school year.

Responsibilities Include:
Implementing lesson plans left by classroom teachers
Creating a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment
Carefully supervising and engaging with students to uphold expectations
Communicating any updates or concerns from the day to relevant faculty/staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
Prior experience in an elementary or early childhood setting strongly encouraged
Ability to work on short notice and maintain flexibility in scheduling
